If the price is good jump, they never make enough .357/.38, if the price is good it will usually be gone before you can pull the proverbial trigger Usually lots of .44 options out there (may even put one of my post JM .44/.45 Marlins up in the classifieds as I consolidate and upgrade).
I'm considering getting a case hardened carbine big boy in .44 to take the place of my Rossi 92 trapper. The only unknown is, I am planning to move to Northern Florida in 2 years and I haven't found a range to join yet.
I've got a Rossi too, the basic R92, and it's great fun. I'd love to start a little lever action collecting, but $$ and space in the safe conspirre to hold me back. Probably a good thing!
