Recently was messing around and tried a friends glock 19 slide on my 27 frame...it worked fine except for the ejection...the case fell down the empty mag well. This was to be expected considering the difference in the 9mm ejector vs thr .40.

    Heres the test configs...
    27 frame/19 slide/.40 ejector
    27 frame/19 slide/ 9mm ejector
    27 frame/27 slide/ 9mm ejector
    27 frame/23 slide/ .40 ejector
    27 frame/23 slide/ 9mm ejector
    19 frame/23 slide/ 9mm ejector
    23 frame/19 slide/ .40 ejector

    Im looking for someone with either a gen3 19 and/or 23.

I will bring testing ammo , 100 rounds of .40 wwb and 100 rounds of my own 9mm handloads (mild load, nothing hot).

Feel free to bring any other ammo you want.

Anyone interested in a fun day of mixing it up?

i guess people are scared of hurting their glocks? FWIW, the internal components and dimensions of the compact and subcompact glocks are the same, the only difference is that the barrel and slide is longer. the front of the slide hands out, but considering that there is no rail engagement out that far anyway its not an issue.
