As subject suggests, I failed to keep G26 slide parallel with frame while reassembling. The rear of slide now sits above the rail. Can’t figure out how to remove and get it straight. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After building one of the polymer 80% frames, when fitting the slide I got good at just smacking it forward with the palm of the hand when it got stuck. That might work for you.

Exactly as above.... sometimes you can give the slide a gentle twist and it will come off.....but a palm strike to the slide....or hold the slide with your fingers and palm strike the butt of the gun, either way should do the trick

1 I just had the same issue with my g41...if you need some help I'M just around the corner from you sir. I was able to rock the slide enough to engage the take down lever and the slide came off
