Limited vendors on site this morning--- but picked up the mags I went for. Came this close to pulling the trigger on a a Sig Legion w/red dot (new) but... the voice of reason smacked me back to reality. Guy also had a Hk USP 45 (new)--- again... that voice. Damn that voice. Left around 1130 and had a Philly Cheese Steak samich at the Blue and Gray Grill-- who knew they were having a Gay Pride event in town today...

Almost forgot---picked ups a couple of pies at Catoctin Mountain Orchard roadside store. Strawberry Rhubarb in the oven as I type---

Are you referring to Dennis A. Todd?

Vendor with multiple tables of magpul mags, some multicolored, also some NFA items... table is usually being run by a brunette lady (who I assume is probably his wife)?

I haven't been to this show but she was at Gettysburg the last time... and the time before that, and the time before that...
Dennis is at the Shooters Gauntlet machine gun shoot this weekend.

Picked up some CZ mags I’ve been looking for.
Best deal I found was one vendor selling CCI blazer 9mm for $300 a thousand, of course I had to pick some up.

Just returned from the show. Very little powder, very few shotgun primers. Powder was @40-45 a pound. SG primers were $13/100.

Plenty of mags if you need them. Sig mags were about $5 cheaper than Gunmagwarehouse.

Much smaller show than the winter shows. There were deals to be had though.

IMO, worse than any Maryland show I've been to. I don't think it's really a summer/winter thing either, last summer the GB shows were pretty good. Maybe the gas prices kept some of the vendors and customers away.

The web site has the show scheduled to 5pm today. Business was so bad the small number of venders who were there were shutting down and they stopped taking admission around 3:30 pm. There were two other customers in the building when I left, looking at the 1/4 or so of vendors who didn't shut down yet.

Unless you're going to get a specific deal you know is there, I'd pass on this one... and frankly I never say that. I usually encourage people to attend.

That might be the one. I just remember the Magpul boxes stacked about 8 feet high as well as the term “Magpul Lady” in some gun show threads.

Does anyone remember if the leather craft guy was at the show today.
He makes custom holsters and knife sheath.
I need a knife sheath for a knife I bought at auction.

Totally underwhelming. Half the number of vendors that I usually see. I think it's been difficult for most gun stores to get inventory.
On another front dropped off another 15 long arms with Pat Redding for an upcoming all military auction that he's planning for late July. So far that's 30 consigned. Will likely add another 10 to the pile. Past time to thin the herd as I rapidly careen towards retirement and don't want to deal with the logistics of moving so many long arms.

I'm pretty sure there was a booth there advertising custom leather holsters. Back against the wall.

If you folks want a good meal at very reasonable prices, try Dunlaps. They have great food and really good service.

You can also get some good food and good drink at Appilatian Brewing Company right up the road from the show. You can eat in the spacious inside area or outside under the trees.

I’ve never seen the parking lot that empty. Quiet would be a nice way to put it, but the mag man is there.

Plus Chubbys is out of potato salad, beef ribs or corn and the cob. Yesterday was apparently a big day.

There was, but it wasn't the leather craft guy he's talking about.

They were only making holsters, he wants a knife sheath. The guy he is looking for will have racks set up with all sorts of leather crafts... belts, sheaths, holsters, purses, pouches, etc.

I made it up Sunday afternoon. I've been trying to track down some CZ P-10C mags for a couple months but haven't had any luck at any border gun shops. I got the mags I needed at the show so I'm happy. Price was a little high but at least I was able to get them. Picked up some fireworks for the kids on the way back home.

If we can get MD's gun laws fixed, next is fireworks. I have a real hard time accepting that the State of Utah certifies I'm trained in firearm safety, yet Maryland doesn't think I can handle fireworks and PG County won't even trust me with a sparkler.
