Generator Interlock Switch

I'm needing a electrician who can install a generator interlock switch, power inlet and watt meter. I'm also wanting extra power outlets in the garage.

I've got the power inlet and watt meter on order.

Do you use the watt meter to double check the power company's meter? Or as a way to adjust usage with the generator?

The watt meter is used to check the generator. My meter only goes up to 7500 watts.
