Garand barrel installation

Hello all. I have a stripped Garand receiver and a new barrel that needs to get installed. I have used Shuffs Parkerizing in the past with good results, however I just wanted to see if there were any other companies to look into before I send it away. Thanks

I just got a response back from Mr. Maloney...seems he is still in Maryland. I will most likely be taking my rifle to him.

You had Shuffs do the install before. You were happy with him,he is cheaper, does fantastic work and is faster than anyone else and you are looking somewhere else???? Why?

Because if I can find someone locall that I don't have to worry about shipping then that's what I prefer. Plus, Shuffs website also says current turn around time is 90 days. I don't want to wait that long.

90 days is short for most gun smiths. Pick up the phone and call Shuffs he usually has a 30 day turn around time
