Just mailed off my Florida renewal. Man, where has the time gone!
corn huskers oil or spray some windex on your hands and rub, then wipe it off. Believe it or not, it works. Spit will do too....but, thats gross for the next guy...
I have trouble with all the electronic readers. My skin is really dry.
I needed to get fingerprints on an old fashioned paper fingerprint card for my FL CCW renewal and I made an appointment to go to the Frederick Sheriff's Office today. It is right next to the Frederick DMV office and I was in an out in 15 min. They asked me no questions as to why I needed the prints. They were very professional and well organized. It cost me $20 and was well worth the drive to Frederick. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs to be fingerprinted on paper cards.

Just received my renewed card over the weekend.
Jul 9 to Sep 12. Online renewal form, and then they "misplaced" my fingerprint card. They eventually found it... after multiple calls reminding them that I sent it Priority Mail overnight, signature required...Just out of curiosity, how long did it take to receive the renewed card from the time you mailed the renewal application to FL? Thanks.

I renewed mine earlier in the year and it took about a month to get back to me.

Took me 60 days, but it wasn’t their fault.
USPS lost the first one. When I notified them I had to wait 30 days to see if it would show up.
Never did, so they resent the permit.
My main concern is, if it was misdirected then someone would have it and my information. Florida wasn’t concerned with that at all.
If it's a renewal, you can do the application form online and only have to mail in the receipt and fingerprint card (the method I used). Thanks all. I do not remember if I sent the original application by certified mail with signature required but this time I will. Thanks for the tip.
