I am applying for the non resident permit. They require the fingerprints to be taken by a law enforcement agency only. I called MSP and they wont do it. Where did any of you guys that have one get your prints taken?

I went to the QA County Sheriff. They do a livescan and print them on the cards you bring.

I had my VA print cards completed at Laurel PD - fast, efficient, no questions, and a pleasant conversation with the two techs that did the work.

When I applied for FL, I had a FL Sheriff's office do the prints while I was on a business trip.

Yes. Also if you get arrested there is no waiting!

Frederick County Sheriffs Office does them Tues through Thurs, 12pm to 5pm, no appointment, walk in, they do livescan as well as paper prints. I was in and out in 15 minutes, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

$20, and they print them on the cards. You have to supply the cards.

In Southern Maryland you can go to the Charles County Sheriff's Office Annex at St Charles Town Center Mall in Waldorf.
They do LiveScan and hard cards.

i live in Carroll County and take the short ride to the Hanover Pa sherriff offices. they are great and its only a $5 charge
