It s was late October 1987. I was 17 years old. Camping on private property,in Capon Bridge WV with my best friend and his father. I had never fired a gun in my life. Got to shoot 3 handguns that day. They were in this order:

1)Dan Wesson .44 Mag 8"
2)T/C .357 10"
3)Colt 1911

I will never forget that day. Changed my life forever. I can't believe he stayed my friend. I think I bugged him every weekend to go camping. The DAY I turned 21 years old, I put my money down on my first handgun: S&W 5904

Ya got me beat by a few years but similar gun. I ordered my Model 64 snubby from Walter's Gun Chamber in 1988. It still brings a smile everytime I see it. My gun safe is like a roach motel "They check in but they don't check out".

Made me feel like a TV cowboy.
