    It doesn't get much better then that. Good Job!!
    I passed up 3 does @ 25 yards and a 3” spike @ 10 yards tonight waiting for one like yours to walk by.

    BTW... this was a 30 yard shot ... heart shot, went through and broke his opposite side shoulder THEN went out his rear just before his ham.

    OH, and btw I HATE hunting in Calvert (the land of nothing flat!), it took 4 of us to get it out of the canyon it fell into...uhhhgggggg
    Make the mountains of PA look like nothing.

    oh yea you have to be part mountain goat to live here... i hope to see a buck like that this year all ive seen so far is a big 6 and some yearling does... but no shot.

    yeah, the wife has had a standing "no dead critters on the wall" directive for years and I figured I'd fight that battle when it came....well here it is, I THINK she has softened up a bit..... guess I'm in for the honeytodo list now

    Nice buck. There's one around here that I've been hunting for all season. I've passed up on everything else that has visited me at my stands. I've seen him about 6 times now, twice from my stand. I have a good idea on how he moves. I think he's bedding down with a doe right now.
