Im going to be applying for my non resident FL CCW permit, and I saw on the forms that the fingerprints have to be taken at a police station. Im in Anne Arundel County and saw that the county police dont offer this service any more. Where can I go to get these ink prints done? Does MDSP offer this service at their barracks?

    Thanks!

Prints MUST be done by a LE agency.

    Correct.

Certified by CJIS does not meet the requirements for FL.

Charles County Sheriffs Office will do ink prints on Tuesday and Thursday from 4PM to 6PM at their St. Charles Town Center (the mall in Waldorf) office.

    National fingerprint database

Interesting in that we are either working to or already have sharing of fingerprint database (nationwide) - why do we make extra repeated effort for those already in database like myself?

    Waste of time and money

FL will except my DD214 under their training requirement but won't just use my federal finger prints on file - that is what they are their for - aren't they????:mad54:

My prints were not for the FL CCW. Did that through a show at Timo several years go. My prints were for the MSP/ATF for a can. No I did not do a trust.

Go to any LiveScan location (or Law Enforcement location if that is required) and have them take your prints via LiveScan and then PRINT your fingerprints onto one or more standard FBI fingerprint cards.

It doesn't matter if you didn't get VA's orange card or the card with FL's agency code pre-printed.

Mail that card to FL, VA or the ATF.

Its not that hard or compacted.
