Went with the Sig 1911 XO. Had a monstrous wait from MSP due to multiple screw ups on their end.

Here she is. Took her to the range today and she ate up every piece of ammo I gave her. Hollow points, steel, etc etc.

Please feed it some better ammo than the Tula.

Please read this thread from Chad about mags, http://mdshooters.com/showthread.php?t=85948 I do not know the quality of the factory SIG mags, but most 1911 owners buy extras.

Is she blued or is that a poly finish? I like the grips.

Sig calls it a Nitride finish. I wanted to put the most foul ammo in it to see how she did with it., I was paranoid about some of the Sig range reports and with the ammo I put in her today, I'd say they have worked out some of the bugs.

Do you mean SIG's Nitron finish? If so, I have a SP2022 with that finish. I like it a lot.

Please clean her chamber when you are done with the steel cased stuff.

    Enjoy.

Yes, thats it. Stainless with Nitron coating. I broke her down completely and cleaned everything.
