This is my first post with pics, so I hope it turns out ok.
So, I recently made a pawn shop purchase of a Remington 700 ADL Varmint in .223 after having shot a coworkers on only one occasion. I did some research on the history of the Rem 700 (the good and the bad), and decided I had to have one. When I got home from the shop I did more research and realized that the ADL model's blind magazine was not ideal for me. Luckily, the 700 is pretty customizable. PROJECT!!!
I went online and found an SPS Varmint stock with factory inletting for cheap. Ordered the Magpul bottom metal for their Hunter 700 stock, and unleashed the Dremel to custom fit it. I had to go back online to find a magazine that would work, which I found at Brownell's. Just got it in the mail. Tested it with Snap-Caps and it works great. Here's the finished product. Detachable magazine fed Remington 700. I feel like a kid on Christmas.
