    Long gun? Hand gun?

Face to face private transfer? Sending in from FFL in another state or online?

Peruse our IP section. Most FFLs post their fees publicly.

Tyler Firearms is my go to. Best rates for sure.

Check on GunBroker for a list of willing dealers in your area. They usually have the price listed.
I've been paying $25 for long guns. I think the state police will do handguns for a small fee.
There's a wide range of what dealers charge, $25 -$150.
Some dealers will screen where the gun is coming from like a private seller or distributor and they need to know if it's MD compliant.

I’m paying $20 for the first, $5 for each additional. Gotta love the wild and wonderful!

    $35 & under = notably inexpensive.
    Over $ 50 = Expensive

    Thereby $35 to $50 = " Normal"

FFL's charging $75 , $100 or more = We really don't want to do this , but if you insist , we'll take your money .

I pay $45 (plus $10 MSP fee if applicable) but the FFL is nearby and very convenient for me.

Calico makes a good point . Absolute cheapest isn't necessarily the best choice .

Proximity , convience , and good service all factor in .

Is it worth driving an hour each way ( twice for regulated) to save $10 ? Factor in gas and your time . As long as they are within the above discussed " normal price range " , go with convience and proximity .

True. Then again some of us are lucky that their (emphasis on local) LGS has both great prices and great service and are local.
