Fifteen years ago a friend who had spent years prepping for the apocalypse, gave up hope and sold me a bunch of his ammo. As in a 50 cal ammo can filled with Federal JHP rounds that seemingly had just been dumped out of their boxes into the can. Unless Federal has sold rounds in bulk packs.

Federal has a half dozen versions of their JHP 45 ACP rounds. Is there any way to identify exactly which Federal load these might be?

How ‘bout four photos for four different rounds all jumbled together in one ammo can…

    Starting with this one…

that little cannelure on the brass and its placement is put there by the manufacturer to identify the round. You might be able to match it up with a known cartridge or email a picture to the manufacturer.

You are taking the worst pictures imaginable, lol.

Headstamps will tell you manufacturer, but you really need some detailed shots of the bullets to go further than that.

+1 on the worst pics ever taken. lol

stand all 4 up, side by side. Take a profile shot and then take one straight down. But it's not good enough to do just that. The pics have to be clear without your fingers in the way. LOL

That deep hollow point cavity looks like it would ruin your day.
Looks very close to the Speer Lawman Flying Ashtrays 200gr JHP

    Picture wise as mentioned
stand them up projectiles facing up. take pic looking down

Stand them up. Case base headstamp up in the same order as the pic above . Looking down take pic.

Lay them down same order take pic in same order.

on a white background no fingers.
