Ready for the Feds to criminalize possession of lead ammo? That could do more to criminalize the law abiding (while simultaneously making legal shooting almost non-existing) then almost anything the current regime could think of. It would be a nightmare and I'm sure many of us here would be forced to become felons at that point.

It is absolutely on their wish list. That would make for one hell of a black market.

Would the Supreme Court rule that lead ammo was allowed historically, or would it recognize the EPA as having the power to regulate lead products?

I've spent a considerable amount of time and personal treasure to accumulate more than a few rounds in more than a few calibers... not because I'm waiting for the revolution or a zombie apocalypse, but because I enjoy shooting and I want to make sure that once I'm done working, I can enjoy shooting well into my retirement without having to worry about sourcing it in a future uncertain and expensive market. If bureaucrats suddenly make that significant investment contraband...

Every hunter in this state not buy a hunting license for two years, see what happens. Yes, you have to give up something you love, find another hobby for two years, make the state pay for their insolence.

Yeah, we wouldn't want to put any of that lead back where it came from.. in the ground. Just more left-wing BS. Of course Minnesota is the California of the Midwest. The state that illegally and purposely miscounted ballots so that Al franken and all his sexual miscreants could take the Senate seat of a decent Republican. That state is so far left hunters should be thankful that hunting is even still legal.

Minnesota has breeding pot heads for years. Look at the kinds of politicians they have elected in the last 30 years. There is no hope for this state.

MN has a long history of this. There was a move there years ago to ban lead fishing sinkers, and a ban of lead wheel weights. There are local companies there that stand to make $$$ developing and selling expensive alternative materials.

As far as how far left the state is, it may be better than MD. The Dems have a 7 seat majority in the House and a slim 1 seat majority in the Senate. The last gubernatorial election was close. One very large urban center controls everything, but the margin is slim.

Maryland outlawed the installation of lead wheel weights on January 1st 2020. If you collect wheel weights from tires shops in the state you get less and less every time you pick them up.
