I had to add it to my wish list, then add it to the cart from the wish list. Then it would let me back order.

If you scroll down on the page it says 400 round box for $129.99 back backorderable. It's American Eagle .223 55gr. Wish it was Federal 5.56 xm193 but oh well.

For those that got an order through, they reduced the 400rd to 200rd for the same $129.99. Could be they screwed up and there will be cancellation notices sent out...

might happen. Somebody on slickguns said they called customer service and confirmed it was 2x200rd packs for $130.who knows though. Worth a shot to try and order them

Where did you see it dropped to 200?

Unfortunately the description on my back order email is rather vague... "2 of 21-4240 AMERICAN EAGLE RIFLE AMMO 223REM 55GR FMJ 2PK @ $129.99 each Backorder-Tentative arrival to Cabelas 08/25/13" I hope I dont get half the rounds I ordered...

Cabela's has all kinds of wierd stuff going on with their site. In the OP's link the 400/200rd option is gone, but a link posted on the S&W forum shows 200rd for $130.
