Yes, that's my understanding. If you have a purchase order prior to 10/1 and you're good to go.

That's correct. The FN SCARs are not on the ban list specifically, although they may meet the feature test (folding stock/flash hider) which can be remedied to make them MD compliant after Oct 1.

The SCAR 17 has grown on me, but I still love them M14 & G3 more. One of these years I'll get one of my holy grail weapons- an early A.I. Portuguese or Sudanese AR-10.
