    Very cool 1911 we received this morning. Its an engraved Talo exclusive, Dave Riccardo design. Gold filled scroll, gold grip screws, gold front sight. gold filled engraved ivory-lite grips. Only 400 made, with serial numbers ranging from DRE001-DRE400. Ours is #36

    Interesting gun. Not for everyone.

    With the engraving being only on the slide, the owner could have a gunsmith fit a second slide assembly. You then could change from BBQ gun to range gun.

    Now that you have it sold... As a collector and fan of all things Colt 1911, I must say... that is ass ugly like all of the laser/photo etched shit that Talo and Colt dump onto the market. Waste of a good stainless Series 70.

    Just think what else $1,700.00 could have bought. Glad it found a home though. Kind of neat but not for everybody like stated earlier.
