    Remember, any handgun sold in MD must be on the state's approved list and if new must have a fired casing. If it doesn't have a casing, there is another step and fee to pay for that.

    Add in transfer fee and shipping and some guns aren't as cheap as they seem.

    What he said. You can spend weeks or months jumping through hoops and paying all kinds of extra fees to get something you could have just bought for less before it is all said and done. All to "save" money. You don't want to spend $5 saving a nickle.
