I was wondering if anyone has been to this show and wanted to know if it would be worth the trip? The Chantilly show will be packed and it is a terrible drive so I was thinking this might be an alternative.

Yes, C&R are C&C if you have an FFL03.

I thought the Harrisburg show was canceled because so many companies backed out.

Went yesterday; smaller than I thought it would be, wasn't crowded
Quite a few ar's at pre- panic prices, some uppers, no parts kits, some mags
    Moisin's were $150 and up
    Lot's of C&R and some mil-surp
A couple of ammo vendors. Ammo not inexpensive but available.
Very little powder but some l&s r&p primers and projectiles.
    $8 parking & $8 entry

There is one less Kimber model 82 sporter there:D

I think they showed their a$$ last year. Fugg'em

I don't know how many times this needs to be posted, but here it goes again...
The Harrisburg gun shows and the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show are not the same thing!!!
The Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show is a hunting, fishing, camping, etc. expo. This is what said "Screw the 2nd Amendment" by refusing AR's to be displayed at the show. This event was typically held in late January, but so many companies pulled out, it was cancelled.
There are gun shows held at the same venue, but they have nothing to do with the ESOS. Harrisburg gun shows are usually good, but you get nailed with parking fees, which makes the York show a better option (plus its closer to MD).
    Harrisburg is my home town.

I have always enjoyed the Harrisburg show. 10-15 years ago one could find some real bargains, and real gems, there. They have been charging for parking forever.
