Hey Guys,
Been searching for one of these for several years. It's been a "unicorn" I've been chasing.
A rifle that was salvaged from the battleship USS California when she was being raised in early 1942 and being put back into service.
The Commanding Officer was transferring custody to the a number of Coastal Artillery Batteries. Battery 2 was West Loch.
No evidence of water damage, she gauges well and the metal is in great shape. I love the bluing on the receiver.
