a few alternatives to the sti

Gross, not for me. I'll take a 1911A1 US marked, or a Walther or Luger with Nazi paperwork, tracing it to an individual officer.

non of those make it to my top 10 list but i still think theyre cool.

these would be some of the choices though

Actually with buffalo bore or several other ammo co ammo it meets or exceeds the 700fpds at muzzle as required to hunt md ...used it in a contender for yrs ...44power less noise but thnx for your concern

@@@@@@hope by deer machine - you dont mean to hunt deer with. That cartridge isnt even legal in Maryland to hunt deer with, because it does not meet the
energy stated by the DNR. Its a little on the weak side for deer.@@@@@@@

Have mine already. 15 rounds of .45 ACP goodness! However, there will always be a place in my heart for a Luger P-08 .

I've always wanted a Sig P226, they're just a bit too expensive for my budget though.

I just picked up my Sig P226 TacOps and it is nothing short of amazing! Save up, buy one...it's like buttah!

I checked a few off the list lately and my tastes keep changing but I would say some that I still want include:

Another luger (with matching numbers) the one I have has a few mismatched parts as well as a reasenaled barrel. But it is a legitimate bringback with provenance (I even have the holster stamped with the name of the warrant officer who brought it back and other paperwork to connect the dots).

    SAA, early, engraved

    Real Schofield

    Ithaca 1911

    Broomhandle Genuine "Red 9"

Realistically I will probably be getting a Uberti engraved gun to check one of these boxes off.
