    Seriously. I mean, if your wife & kids are starving because of the piece of gear you just bought, that makes you an idiot. That aside, small, incremental efforts over time to prepare for floods / power outages / civil unrests / shelter-in-place events are just *prudent*.

    Don't worry about the folks who think you're crazy: these are the same people who are currently acquiring 90 rolls of toilet paper out of fear.

    Amen! Wife and I have been jotting down lessons learned as they pop up during this quarantine.

    Same here. One thing we’re very fortunate for is grid up and delivery services operating.

    Sharing what we learned from this will make us all more prepared moving forward.
