I choose not to worry about things that are extremely unlikely to happen. One early Saturday morning several years ago I was on my way to the range. Their was a Sheriff's Deputy parked right in front of my truck sitting in his car. I lugged all my junk out and threw some in the bed and laid my AR 15, in it's case, on the toolbox as I unlicked my door. The deputy got out of his car and came back to me and we had a nice conversation about places to shoot past 100 yards, 300 blackouts and how bored he was waiting for my neighbor to get home from working night shift. Not once did he ask to see the rifle, the serial number or receipt. I wasn't detained, tazed, shot or bludgeoned. My neighbor pulled up and we parted ways. That's what I expect to happen.
