Just based on casual observance, gun-related magazines are being pulled from local supermarket chains. There are NONE at Giant, Safeway, or Food Lion in SoAACo that I have seen. This is a very recent occurrence and I'm wondering whether it's just local, statewide, or nationwide, and whether it's chain-specific or an action by periodical distributors ?
Could this be yet another subtle attack on 'the gun culture' brought on by pressure from Spinny Vinnie and Marylanders To Prevent Gun Violence, or onerous national actions funded by Bloomberg Buck$, or something prompted by nefarious new 'state regulations' on what can and cannot be displayed in public ... until they start showing up in plain brown wrappers.
I hope that there is an MDS member who can shed some light on this odd occurrence, and I'd like to hear from others around the state and country on what they see, or don't see on the newsstands.
I still get Guns & Ammo and Shooting Times delivered by mail, but I really miss the dozen or so titles I could peruse and choose from when picking up a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk on the way home from the range.
Chime in with your findings and what I think may be the next way gun-grabbers are attempting to influence public opinion.
