No personal experience, but I've heard nothing but good about DAS in Joppa. Oh and I know how you feel. I just in the cooling system on my wife's Caravan on Sunday and I am feeling it now. I used to crank out that kind of work on flat rate but not anymore.

I manage a fleet of just over 60 vehicles, and actually have used them a half dozen or so times. Sometimes you do get what you pay for...although I don't think they are overpriced by any means. They've always been upfront and fair with me.

They've helped me out of a jam, a few times, with some of our diesel powered fleet vehicles. Diesel repair work, by nature, is pricey....like everything else diesel.

Not sure they'd even want to get involved in a used engine swap though...I know I wouldn't...lol.

did he ever find someone? I complete side work in a mobile form and depending on the space he has could do it. I could do it only if he has the time to spread it out over a few weekends. If he is in a time crunch I have a really good shop out in dundalk. The gentleman that runs that shop is the quality guy that taught me a good portion of what I know turning wrenches.
