Not a permit holder- which is why the additonal charges of Handgun in Vehicle and Loaded Handgun in Vehicle. If she were a permit holder she'd only be charged under the school property basis.

Sounds good on paper but I don't know of many schools around me that have any parking anywhere off campus/nearby. Seems a bit silly to restrict from leaving in your own locked vehicle.

That's why I said " theoretically " . Never say Never , but typical good scenario is neighborhood street parking , measured in hundreds of yards each way , and goes downhill from there .

But it's not Silly, it's exactly as intended. Make it enough of a hassle, to discourage as many people from actually carrying on a regular basis as possible.
