I happen to drop by Dick's today. Looks like Remington .223 is on sale. (55gr UMC FMJ)

Not a great price but its Wally World-ish...

Make sure that $7.98/box is for single boxes. Their signs are misleading sometimes. About a month ago they had Rem UMC on sale and in small print the only way to get the low per box price was to buy a whole case. Single boxes were still regular price.

That price is worth a case. It beats Bass Pro, Cabelas, and Sportsmen's Guide for certain, especially when you consider about a 12% shipping rate instead of 6% tax.

Yeah it was that price a few weeks back. It is 7.98 per box without having to buy a case.

The sale started last week at Columbia as an in store sale (no flyer was put out in the paper or online). At first it was just on the 20-rnd boxes and they sold out fast. Then this week there is a national flyer and all UMC was discounted to $0.40 /rnd. I was in NY and grabbed 2 200rnd packs.

Also, shotgun slugs were buy one get one half off.
