Can DE residents buy long guns in PA & MD fill out # 4473 and carry ? Someone thought if DE resident goes to a gun show in MD or PA the dealer has to ship the long gun to a DE FFL so no # 4473 and carry ?

    Simple answer, yes they can.

DE resident must follow DE laws (and laws of state where buying) when buying long arms out of state (e.g. MD resident can only by an HBAR AR15 out of state as non-HBARs are banned in MD).

I understand about the AR's just some guy told me DE residents couldn't buy non regulated long guns like shotguns bolt action rifles etc out of state like PA & MD as they have to be shipped to an FFL in DE.

Doesn't sound right to me .............

I am a DE resident and I've bought several shotguns at MD shows, over the years. Unless the MD law has changed, it is still legal.

Law hasn't changed. As a MD resident I have bought a shotgun in DE at Cabela's.

There are guns that you may want to purchase but are not available for sale in MD, i.e. an AK, which is legal in DE.

It doesn't sound right because it's not right Song Dog. You are correct and 'some guy' is wrong.

A DE resident can buy a long arm in PA & MD, or any other state for that matter. As has been stated, DE Dan/Debbie cannot buy an AK47 in Maryland, but could if he/she were visiting a real free state.

No "regulated" anything in Delaware. Can own anything except NFA but can own SBR's just not in Wilmington.
