CZ 82 ammo

I read that CZ 82 was design for more powerful 9x18 ammo.

What ammo do you use and did it feed reliably?

I use Brown Bear or Wolf. NEVER NEVER NEVER have any issues with any ammo with my CZ. Very reliable pistol!

9x18 is a much better round than the .380 (9x17) defintely more punch

9X18 Makarov +P (115gr. hard cast flat nose @ 1,000 fps-ME 255 ft. Ibs.

+1 Lead in any polygonal barrel is a big no no!

An astute observation! For target practice I'll use Silver Bear 'normal' ammo. For self defense, the gun is loaded with this stuff. After practicing with buffalo bore, I meticulously clean the barrel, every time, even though the manufacturer claims that there is no build up of lead from this ammo.

Hornady now makes critical defense in 9mm mak. Was thinking about picking up some of that, that's what we've got in the wife's bursa 380.

I use Silver/Brown Bear for the range and Hornady JHP for defensive.

It does not matter what you put in it. The pistol is going to work.

I've used Silver bear, Brown bear, and I used to have some lake city. Never had an issue with anything I've fed my CZ-82. Great little gun.
