Current limit on buying regulated guns?

I'm having trouble confirming a buy limit for regulated guns in MD. I've been going with the idea that only one hand gun or "scary" rifle (AR/AK) a month can be purchased at a time. Would that be from date of purchase, paperwork submission, or "picked up taken home"? Or maybe it doesn't really exist at all? I'm waiting for a rifle to transfer and clear and want to buy two handguns.

Here is the info on becoming a designated collector. My LGS had the forms stacked and ready to go, I filled it out, signed it, they notarized it and sent it in with the paperwork form my stripped lower.

Actually, you may purchase 2 regulated firearms at the same time, but must wait 60 days until your next regulated purchase.
