423 FVCKING DAYS and I just got the call

Of course my old man had exactly the same filing dates and check cashing dates as me but his isn't in
    Congrats
I have a customer that has passed 430. I’ve checked in once at 390 so it may be time to follow up.

Did a follow up for a customer that’s at 455. They gave me more info than they did 2 months ago and was able to leave a message with the examiner. We’ll see if I get a call back.

I called last week and found out two of my stamps were approved on July 22. However it took a month to get to my FFL. I pick them up on Friday. So it took 401 days for the approval and + 30 after that . I still have one left and that will probably be a Christmas present the way thinks are going.

How does that happen? Or did your FFL shit the bed and blame ATF for the delay?

Curious if they even called you back?
I haven’t heard a peep. But full disclosure I left town and my cell only works in a few areas here. That said they probably blew me off but I’ll be back on the phone the day I get back. When I had a SBR come through with a messed up form three and too short for MD they couldn’t have been any better helping me out. Quick email replies and phone calls. But I have to stay on them about this. This can has fallen through the cracks so I’m going to be a very squeaky wheel.

I waited 5.5 months for a eForm 1 a while ago. I'd be willing to show you the stamp if you don't believe me.
Am I right thinking you get long waits more often than not compared to others. Do you have a job that requires security clearances. Most of the customers I have that do get delayed.

If that's accurate than that's completely ass backwards. Trusted agents of .gov with clearances take longer to evaluate for trustworthiness? Insane

The more files you have, the longer the search takes. FBI has made improvements on the system however and it is better than it used to be.

I have found that, if I ask for a supervisor when the delay comes in, I can give him/her/it enough information to have him issue a proceed on the spot.
