Uncle Jimmy will get you straightened out!!! They’re always good about calling when there’s trouble with the paperwork or you’re approved. It may be a day or so after they receive it, but it won’t sit around long before you get the call.

So you don't think I need to worry about check to see if a "check was cashed"?

they just charged my card for the stamp so I assume they just mailed a personal check from them to the atf?

google is your friend, I am not.
Normally the check gets cashed about 2 weeks after the form 4 is submitted. If its been 4 months, the check was cashed over 3 months ago. I mean there is no harm in calling to double check - but really, its just a waiting game. the wait time is realistically 9 months.

Saw this earlier today. Lots of reports of sub 4 month returns out there.

My check was just cashed 9/5. Gives me some hope I guess.

individual From 4, check cashed 07/24/19, stamp at my dealer 09/28/19

wow- almost don't believe it lol

how is the individual process accomplished vs the trust process?

I have only done the trust route once and am still waiting. Im ready to ditch my waste of 400 dollars trust and go individual next time if this time frame is the case.

Don't want to burst anyone's bubble, but the running theory is that the short wait times experienced by some lucky people filing individual form 4s is a fluke due to the training process for new NFA branch investigators. Could always be wrong though. Someday we will get eForm4s again and hopefully then stamp approvals this fast will be business as usual.

    Update
Check cashed by the ATF on 01/07/19.
Got the call from my dealer today that my stamp is ready for pickup.
Date on the stamp says 9/23/19
(someone smarter than me can do the math on the wait :D)

definitely waiting until 90 days becomes the norm lol
I'm eyeing a YHM Turbo K and a Rugged Obsidian 9mm. And about a dozen other cans, if I'm being honest. I don't really need two more cans, but I didn't "need" the first eight I guess. I'm planning on waiting for the eForm4 process to come back online. Particularly if Silencershop does all the work for me.
