4/18 form 4 (supressor) dropped off @ MSP
    4/29 CJIS letter
6/16 check with MSP. No problems, just not processed yet.

Until now, my form 4s have closely followed the CJIS letter. I see why you guys go the trust route.

MSP is appoaching ATF efficiency standards. Shame. They used to be so much better.

2 months already!?!? :sad20: That's god-awful. MSP did mine in exactly 30 days a couple of months ago. Now I'm dreading my upcoming SBR purchase:tdown:

Glad I too went the trust route after hearing the MSP delays, hoping to have the stamps in 6-8 weeks.

30 days? So the MSP has slipped to this?

I am trying to remain positive, but I am loosing confidence in the MSP. I hope my experience is not the normal way officer Everett(sp.?) conducts State business and my form 4s show up soon with an apology for the delay. The troopers I know would do no less.

...Unless he quit caring and decided to take a dump on one of the last law abiding segments of the public left.

Both SBR and can were approved this week! :party29:

    Pending: 4-4-11
    Approved: 6-16-11

    Examiner: Nicole Dudash

All and all I'd say my first NFA experience really wasn't that bad.
More like a trip to the dentist for a cleaning rather than a root canal.

    Was that with a trust?

My MSP wait was three weeks. Seems like they are starting to take longer.

From everything I'm reading MSP is the bottleneck right now. I ended up going with a trust and hope the BATFE will only hold me up 8 weeks.

    Confirmed delivery to BATFE 6-13-11
    Will update soon

Sent off 2 Form 4 (Supressors, LLC) on February 22nd....we'll see how quickly this goes :party29:

March 1st ATF checks cashed...getting closer

    :lol2:

    (2) Suppressors on form 4s sent in at same time

    9. Stamp Received: 5/13/2011

    Suppressor #2

    1. NFA Item: 22 Supressor
    2. Form Type: Form 4
    3. Transferee: Trust
    4. Forms Sent: 2/22/2011
    5. Check Cashed: 3/1/2011
    6. Pending Date: 4/4/2011 Pending
    7. Examiner Name: William Shipman
    8. Approved Date: 4/27/2011
    9. Stamp Received: 6/21/2011 :mad54:

The second stamp got "lost in the mail"

My guidance from the ATF was to "wait 30 days and then contact us and request we resend it certified mail"

Then, I sent them correspondence via Priority mail asking them exactly that.

Yesterday I received in the mail my paperwork at MY ADDRESS standard mail, not Certified. It was sent to me, not the SOT's address like the original stamp SHOULD have gone to.

I paid the stamp instead of waiting several more months to wait for the suppressor as I knew we were getting our Class2/3 license (we're approved on July 1 2011) soon. It ended up taking all of a week short of being able to transfer it dealer/dealer and save the $200 tax stamp :sad20:

Christ...I can't catch a break on this one. I am now +85 days on the form 3. Its going to be over a year, after the form 4's, until I get these items. :sad20:

What are you waiting on? If its a Form 3 to your dealer and its taken 85+ days the transaction may be in "problem status". It is exceptionally rare for a good Form 3 to take that long.

Mine took middle of January to middle of April to transfer from out of state individual to my dealer.
