current ATF wait time

    I filed one last week. Started in Firefox until I got to attaching my trust, then had to switch to chrome to get my trust documents to upload, then had to switch back to firefox to do my payment. You would think they could make a website that works properly, but I guess I really should know better.

    When you use Firefox, seems like you have to 'update' it first. I did that and it worked fine for me.

    So does anyone think all the fear about the new wait times is legit or just a bunch of paranoia? I'm reading all over Facebook and other places that once this goes into effect the wait times could be up to a year and a half...

    It's paranoia.

    There's no way to predict how long it'll take ATF to do anything.

    Frankly, if there's going to be any increase in wait times, I would expect that it'll be starting now, because everyone will be freaking out and trying to get those last few forms in.

    Please tell me, as someone who's never bought an nfa item but considering it, what the hell they are checking that can take that long?

    10 mins after some shooter makes the news they can tell you everything about them down to their favorite cereal as a sixth grader but the aft takes 6 - 8 months to approve a suppressor.
