Creedmoor makes a few different coats. The heavy coat apparently gives the most support. Does anybody have any experience with the "lite" coat that is based on the heavy coat?

I'm looking for some support for standing 0ff-hand.

The Heavy coats are apparently back-ordered so they won't be ready for the CMP Eastern games if ordered.

So, I am considering getting one of the off the rack Lite version.

    Thanks

A bunch of support to build a stable offhand position comes from sturdy boots. If you twist your upper body as recommended by triple-distinguished rifleman Jim Hill and other folks, a jacket becomes a nice platform to sew rubber pads on and not a mandatory straight-jacket.
