Prvi makes some non corrosive modern stuff. Not sure if it is as hot as the surplus stuff, but you can reload the brass.

But seriously, never shot the 7.62x25 before. Howd's it shoot? Cost of ammo?
25c a round for the commie corrosive stuff. Plenty of us are kicking ourselves for missing the boat when this stuff was half the price or less... but it might get there again, if someone imports more. (Myself, I'd like to do a 7.62x25 DI AR-15 SBR... maybe if it gets down to 20c a round shipped.)

I own a Tokarev myself, and it's a fun gun to shoot. 7.62x25 is pretty zippy, but recoil is manageable. It's really interesting gun on the inside, too; sort of a weird cross between a 1903 and a 1911, with the usual Russian idiosyncrasies. You can also get away from the 7.62x25 caliber if you're willing to invest in a 9mm barrel and bushing for it.

Great gun. I got one a few months back and also bought some corrosive ammo at a decent price at the same time. I've had it out several times and have been impressed with how well it shoots. The sights aren't the best but once I figured them out, I could find the target pretty well (for me, anyway).
