Applied yesterday morning. No training, no fingerprinting, no fees...went active this afternoon. Love my conceal carry permit!

I applied for mine yesterday afternoon. Checked today at 12 pm and everything was checked but the department of health and mental Hygiene check. Now lets see how long that takes.

I got my fingerprints on Friday, submitted online over the weekend, and logged on today, and see I am approved. Two business days is great turn around. Why was a MD regulated check prior to 10/1 taking 100 plus days???

Well, even though I disagree with this infringement on our rights, I went ahead an applied for the HQL if for no other reason than there are still some things I want to buy. My wife applied too so I guess that means a total of two more for the poll, although I only clicked it once.

Status was "active" within 24 hrs.

Thanks MD for allowing me to exercise my Constitutional Rights....limited...for a fee.:sarcasm:

The HQL application has more bugs than the Temple of Doom.

Not everyone who applied (and received) their HQL did so in supplication to The State.

Some people who are waiting on NDs on pre-10/1 purchases are taking no chances on the contradiction between the MSP position and the Gansler opinion.

As I am waiting on a ND from a FFL who will not release after 8 days, it seems only logical to protect myself from an uncertain future legal position.

Looks like they are doing Ladies First! My wife got her final approval this evening, less than 24 hours after submission.

I am STILL waiting for the MVA photo and DHMH checkoffs. :tap:
