Hey, unfortunately the seller decided to take it back, had a lot of nostalgic value for him. Was just about to update the forum with all the sold guns.

That S&W model 38 is a beauty-ful little gun--and with a pinned barrel! I saw it yesterday along with all the others. All very nice, except for some that were overpriced by the consignor. (They marketplace will educate them soon enough)

The only reason I didn't grab that Model 38 is that I own one already thanks to a member here selling in the classified a couple years ago. I am still looking for this shrouded hammer Model 49 which has the steel frame--a change from the Model 38 which is an aluminum frame and steel cylinder combo.
