    Presents the following course for Virginia PPS registration:



    Executive Protection / Personal Protection Specialist Course

    Prerequisite: Be a minimum of 18 years of age and a United States citizen or legal resident alien of the United States.



    Course Length: (7) days (84) hours



    Class Size: 10-15



    Cost: $1,800.00



    Date: August 24-30, 2009 starting @ 9am

    CCJA’s training course is designed for the experienced protection specialist and the novice alike. This unique training course covers a wide range of high level protection specialist security skills in permissive and semi-permissive environments. The course will be taught at a fast pace with classroom and hands on training based on updated and relevant protection techniques.

    Law (Constitutional, Criminal, Civil).

    Briefings – detail or principle
    Foot Formations & Tactics
    Crowd Control
    Arrivals & Departures
    Motorcade Operations
    Surveillance Detection
    Defensive Tactics
    TEMS Medical Training to include American Red Cross First Aid & CPR
    Assessment of Threat and Protectee Vulnerability risk analysis
    Bomb Threats and how to respond and sweep for IED’s & WMD
    Use of Force
    Residential Security
    High & Low profile protection

    1 & 2 Agent protective details

    6 & 8 Agent Protective details
    Assault on Principal Drills
    5 practical exercises as well as final FTX

    This six day training course is very intensive; it is not just a classroom training course. From the first day you will be challenged with practical training exercises that will progressively build and culminate in Final Training Exercise (FTX). This course is a unique opportunity to experience the intensity of real protective detail operations, to meet industry representatives and to learn basic and advanced techniques in executive protection.

    Commonwealth Security’s personal protection specialists training combines real world experience from CCJA’s instructor staff coupled with the knowledge and skill from our guest speakers including US Secret Service and US Marshal Service as well as other industry professionals.

    Entry Level Handgun Training for the Protection Specialist (07E)

    Course Dates: September 1st-2nd, 2009

    Course Length: 14 Hours Course Cost: $200 + ammo



    Advanced Handgun for the Protection Specialist (09E)
    Course Dates: September 3rd-5th, 2009

    Course Length: 24 Hours Course Cost: $400 + ammo

    Topics Covered: Proper Care and Maintenance, Civil/Criminal Liability, Weapon Retention, Deadly Force, Range Safety, Practical Firearms Handling, Principles of Marksmanship, Decision-Making for the Personal Protection Specialist.

    Did the Armys 3 week Protection Services Course and Anti-Terrorist Evasive Driving school.
    If anyone out there is thinking of doing this class, and can possible afford it. Take it. I still use some of the participles today that I learned in the class. Wish I could afford the money and time to do it.
