Course Description :
This course will include everything needed to apply for the Utah concealed firearms permit.
The Utah portion of the course is lecture only. This portion of the course will take about 6 hours to complete. At the end of the class you will have everything needed to apply for your Utah permit. Fingerprints, passport type photo (you will receive 4 passport photos, one for Utah and 3 extra for other applications) and postage of your permit application are included. You will also receive a Certificate of Completion. This certificate can be used as proof of training as required for a Virginia concealed firearm permit. Extra copies will be provided upon request.
The Utah Concealed firearms permit is recognized by 31 states when held by a Maryland resident. The Utah permit is not valid in Maryland.
You will be required to pay a $49.00 fee to the state of Utah for your permit application in addition to the $100.00 class fee. The permit is valid for 5 years and renewal is only $15.00. No additional training is required.
We will also include the required training for the Maryland Handgun Qualification License. This includes a live fire segment where the student must load, fire and unload a handgun. This portion of the course may take up to an additional 2 hours depending on the number of students registered. We will assist each student with the application process as needed. A certificate of completion will be given to each student completing this section of the course. This certificate can be used to apply for the Florida Concealed Weapons Permit.
We will have Live Scan Fingerprint services available at this class for an additional fee of $60.00. This fee will be paid directly to Safe Hire Solutions, LLC. Preregistration information for fingerprint services will be forwarded to our registered students prior to the class.
