Since my deal for the Model 29 .44 magnum fell through, the guy was kind enough to offer another gun in trade....I found I was more interested in this one than the Model 29 :D

S&W Model 27. I thought it was a keeper.....got bored with it. Wanted something a little different. It was supposed to be a trade for a Model 29, but that didn't work out.

    Wow!!!!! Nice trade.

I have a Colt Commander that I absolutely love, it's a tack driver.

I am hoping to get some work done to it when I get home, may not have the time or money though so most likely I will hold off till next time.

    No one cares about this.

Inquiring minds want to know if that Model 29 remains available, if checked out on your end, and if this gentleman knows how to use GunBroker. :innocent0

    But really, nice 1911.

The gentlemen is an older guy with more guns than he knows what to do with. He's a retired cop who does nothing these days but work a part time job and trade guns for sh*ts and giggles. He traded the 29 for a 586. Asked me if I wanted the 586 first....I told him I didn't want to get out of a .357 just to get another .357. He offered the Colt at that time.

He wheels and deals on a site here in NC that I am a moderator on.
