CMP M1 carbines

Yeah, I'm starting to get bummed out about this whole carbine sale. Now that six weeks have passed, the first 1,000 are surely sold. Our odds of getting one have dropped from 40% to 25% or less.

I'm not giving up hope until the CMP sends out there mass "Dear John" note, though.

Well, at least with my FFL-03 I will have plenty of chances to get a carbine. I've been waiting for the CMP carbine sale since March 2014, when the folks at the South store told me they had over a thousand and just needed time to rework them.

CMP rifles are truly a bargain compared to 95% of other sales. Sure, there are a few folks on this board that have the gun sense to spot a gem out of the hundreds to thousands of variations and quality levels of milsurp guns. They score those 5% bargains, I'm just not one of them.

There is still hope guys. I got my DBU email today! Now starts the daily ritual of checking E Store.

Order hit E Store this afternoon. Based on what I'm seeing on the CMP forum it will probably ship within a few days. I'll be sure to post pics once I have it in hand.

People are getting Carbines with no advance notice.

My order arrived on the appointed day, nada so far on the E-Store. That said, my QHMC will likely hit the For Sale section soon here either way.

CMP store does show a pending order; Field grade rifle!!!!
[EDIT: ok - so Service grade was my first choice; but I'll take it!]

I still haven't heard a peep. My info was there at 10:11 am first day if i remember correctly.
