I'm still looking for another 10mm in slightly larger format. I have a 1911 and G20 for the cartridge. I've been lax on picking up a Vector SDP enhanced since posting a thread on it a number of months ago. My thinking has since shifted towards a Banshee in 10mm lately. Is the universal online lovefest for this model warranted? Figured that I'd query the brain trust here, as I'm not picking one up for another month or two (still riding my NY resolution to buy fewer guns this year, but another 10mm is an exemption to the resolution).

My MK10 with their heavy buffer is like shooting a 22. It’s amazing, and super accurate. Believe the hype - it’s all true

I have a Banshee MkGs, a 9mm and it runs like a clock. Suppressed or not, it has never had a hiccup. Accuracy is fantastic all the way out to 50 yards.

I did change out the trigger to a Rise Armament Rave 140 which made it even better.

 Seemed like a perfect HD (and fun range) gun the instant I handled it today. It just needs an optic. Fighting the normal internal battle, but probably going back in Monday to start the paperwork.

I have tried several optics and have settled on the PA micro prism sight. It is awesome and comes in red or green.

If you want a 10mm that shoots flat like a .22,
Grand Power has come out with a braced Stribog SPA93 in 10mm

The initial push-out sold out FAST; however; I am confident Grand Power will have more available very soon … (GZD has always been fantastic to do business with!)

… (two of the three braced SPA93’s we have in 9mm came from GZD.com with the latest being the “Mini-Bog”; and, after dropping 3-lb fire control groups in all three of them, they remain among our favorite braced pistols. FUN on steel.

Had the mini-bog out yesterday, along with a sig MPX-K and the Sig fan boi who’d asked me to bring both to the range for him to try on several dueling trees is STILL talking today about the difference in felt recoil / muzzle rise of the MPX-K vs the Stribog.

Similar reticle that's on the PA sitting atop my AR. Bonus points on that.

Does it accept Glock mags? That's one thing that I am looking for in another 10mm.

    Does it accept Glock mags?

    Excellent question and two answers:

First, at present, with these first runs, I do not believe so (but, this would be worth checking with someone at either GZD or Global Ordnance just to make 100% sure)

Second, it turns out getting Stribogs to run Glock mags is pretty sh*t simple (for grand power at least) which is something I would’ve appreciated knowing before buying my first 9mm one which runs on Stribog mags. A year later they came out with the version that runs on Glock mags which is the second one I bought.

So, it won’t surprise me to see Grand Power come out with a Glock mag version of their 10mm SP9A3

But, I also understand anyone not wanting to wait for it!

Excellent info. I'm pretty much sold on the CMMG at this point, but this is very good to know for future purposes.

Other than convenience, I can't think of a reason to prefer a PCC that runs Glock mags over another choice. But, that's just me.

Yep, convenience and interchangeability with existing guns in the safe.
And nothing wrong with going the braced pistol route.

I don't know a thing about the Stribog but it looks cool.
