Anyone have an opinion. I have been using claybuster for years. I usually shoot claybuster replacements for WAA12L for 7/8 skeet and Fig 8 for 1 1/8 sporting. I recently have heard good things about downrange and was curious if people are using them.

I like CB's because they're cheap, they offer a wide variety, there's lot of data available and they're readily available.
There's nothing pushing me toward trying Downrange, though I've heard they leave less plastic residue over time.

If you're a weekend warrior like myself, load up 7/8 ounce for Sporting Clays. You'll probably shoot just as good as you do with ounce and an eighth. Plus the light payload factor you could use an excuse if you miss one or two you usually don't :D

Muller chokes with that cermaic coating is the best thing for wad residue
