Cerakoting Parked Guns

I'm thinking about buying one of the hundreds of ex-Israeli FN Hi Powers Coles' has listed on Gunbroker for cheap. They've all been parked. If I get one, I'd want to have it Cerakoted. Does that entail removing the parkerizing, or can the Cerakote go over the park? Does it come out better if the park's removed?

my understanding it comes out better on parked than non park surface. DIYers park theirs as a surface prep.

It is also my understanding thst parkerizing is the best base for cerakote.
