I thought historically when you lower prices for services you gain volume and the opposite happens when you raise them. All I see is less folks having the C+W permit and continued fiscal short comings.

that's because the real goal is less CCW permits, not balancing the budget.

As usual a liberal smokescreen, much like the MD HQL

What we're seeing is the desperate death throes of a dying political party. Judge Gorsuch will join the Supreme Court. Inevitably Justices Kennedy and Ginsberg will be replaced by true conservative judges. Then all the nonsense these democrat legislators vomit forth abusing the Constitution will trickle up to the highest court and be invalidated. Will take years but we will ultimately win.

I agree. The death knell of liberal legislators and activist judges has been sounded. As you point out, because of lifetime appointments of Federal judges, it will take a long time for these activist judges to be weeded out.

I probably won't live to see it, but my kids will.

I wonder when national carry is passed by Congress and signed by President Trump will Connecticut Democrats, New York Democrats, Maryland Democrat legislators all pass abusive blocking type legislation thwarting the new national law like they do our national immigration laws? I bet they do. Exorbitant fees and jump through multiple layers of hoops to exercise a Constitutional Right. Amazing how they can be so selective as to which laws they deem worthy of obedience.

Guaranteed T, P & M restrictions will be passed immediately. It wouldn't surprise me if the MGA viewed this as so critical as to call a special session of the legislature if this is passed after sine die.

The national reciprocity bills usually (forget what the exact text is this year) treat a recognized permit as equivalent to the least restricted permit issued by the jurisdiction, so they'd have to restrict everyone, not just the unwashed.

There is no such language in the current bill HR 38.

There is no such language in the current bill HR 38.

    attached.

‘‘(a) Notwithstanding any provision of the law of any
9 State or political subdivision thereof (except as provided
10 in subsection (b)) and subject only to the requirements
    11 of this section, [...]

‘‘(b) This section shall not be construed to supersede
5 or limit the laws of any State that—
6 ‘‘(1) permit private persons or entities to pro
7 hibit or restrict the possession of concealed firearms
    8 on their property; or
9 ‘‘(2) prohibit or restrict the possession of fire
10 arms on any State or local government property, in
11 stallation, building, base, or park.

It comes down to can they prohibit/restrict firearms from the roads and sidewalks as government property in the same class as buildings and bases. This year's draft is certainly not as clear on the issue as others, but I think it would give the antis fits trying to restrict.
