I dont have a press or the equipment to reload .357 magnum, I have a few boxes i bought at an auction, one of them is marked reloads with the recipie on it, i really dont want to shoot that, one box i know is factory than 2 boxes im unsure of. Can someone help me pull the bullets and reload them with new powder on their equipment if i supply the powder?

You should give them to me. I will empty them with one triger pull after the other. No just check the recipie with a manual they could be fine.

Just because the recipe is there, doesn't mean they followed it.

I'd pull the bullets and recycle the components.

If you don't want to to that you could pull say 10% and check the powder weights to see how close to the recipe he was following....then you can decide if you are willing to risk some body parts trusting him...

What was the "recipe" marked on the box? If known, that should be OK to shoot.

I wouldn't bother with the unknown loads. Not worth the trouble. Toss them or give them to someone to shoot in a rifle or a TC Contender.

    Wrong.

You have no idea if these were made correctly or even if the cartridges in the box are made to the recipe in the box.

I read of this same scenario where a person bought a box of reloads from a widow at a lawn sale that her husband had made. The buyer fired one and it was obvious from that one that they were "hot" he pulled the bullets on the rest and found no consistency in how they were loaded. Apparently the husband suffered from Alzheimers before he passed away.
