The Livescan operator can enter up to three or five codes to designate the agency(s) who will receive the results of the background check.

The amount of time your information is cached on the machine varies due to several factors, I have heard up to three days to update a handgun permit a scan with the HQL code or PI or alarm installer code, etc.

More likely to have success with a private, low volume Livescan, than a DMV contractor due to volume.
